Grief and Loss
How to cope with the death of a loved one
Pain, sadness, guilt, and shame are common responses that are often experienced when losing a loved one. These are natural emotions, but they can often become very challenging to endure. It’s important to share these feelings with someone who can listen to you, a friend, a family member, someone who validates your emotions, who doesn’t mind if you overflow with them, who doesn’t interrupt you. However, if you feel that this isn’t helping, if you notice that over time you’re becoming paralyzed, surrendering in life, abandoning yourself or your loved ones, the people who depend on you, or if, on the contrary, you can no longer set boundaries, you’re overprotecting them, you should seek specialized help. Our mission is to accompany the suffering of individuals facing loss situations, combining sensitivity and respect for people’s defenses with all the rigor and professionalism.
Grief Support Groups
In addition to individual therapy, we conduct group interventions through structured sessions and closed groups, always assessing the circumstances and needs of the patient. In this case, sharing with others who have experienced losses can be of great help, exchanging experiences and resources to alleviate their suffering
